There is a growing anger in Pakistan Occupied Balochistan after the cold blooded Extra Judicial Killing of a student Hayat Baloch by Pakistan Forces. There were wide protests all over Balochistan, Sindhudesh and Pashtunistan over the murder. Protests and demonstrations were held in other countries as well. Meanwhile Pakistan forces has started massive operations in Balochistan to curb the voices of Baloch nationals so that they can transition the control of the mineral and resources rich Balochistan areas to the Chinese masters.
On the 13th of August, a roadside IED (Improvised Explosive Devise) hit Frontier Corps’ (FC) convoy in Absar town of Kech district in Balochistan. As a result, multiple casualties were reported; however, the news did not end there.
After the 13th August’s attack, Frontier Corps (FC) troops rushed to the nearby areas to carry out their routine search operation, which many deem as tactics of spreading fear among the masses. Pakistani troops barged into an orchard and got their hands on the first man they saw there. According to witnesses, he was beaten in front of his parents and tied up using the scarf of his own mother, dragged up to the road where he was extra-judicially killed by the Frontier Corps (FC) personnel.
Frontier Corps tied him up and carried him to the other side of the farm, despite his father pleading to the security forces that Hayat had not left the farm since morning. Mohammed’s plea fell on deaf ears as the Frontier Corps (FC) personnel dumped him on the ground while one of the officers fired 8-10 shots at him. Reportedly, the security personnel then abandoned his dead body while the parents of Baloch wept by the side of his dead body. Hayat Baloch was dead even before they could manage to take him to a hospital.
This young man, later identified as Hayat Baloch. Pictures of blood-covered Hayat lying dead in front of his helpless parents caused massive anger in Balochistan. He was a final year student of BSc (Physiology) at Karachi University and was only at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During his stay at the village, he was working along with his parents to harvest dates, so he could contribute to the income of his poor family.
An eye witness revealed, “I saw five or six Frontier Corps (FC) men beating him. Whenever he raised his head, I think to explain something, they kicked him more. He must have been shot dead later when we left. He was not caught in the crossfire.”
Famous Pashtun Politician Moshin Dawar also condemned Punjabi dominated Pakistan and called it a Murder and reminded Pakistan of 1971 when Bangladesh broke away from Pakistan and became an Independent Nation.
This murder would have remained another local story of terror where government forces pick up, torture and murder whoever they deem as an insurgent or their collaborator. It was only for the visual evidence and nationwide uproar which forced Frontier Corps (FC) to hand over one of the murderers and used him as a scapegoat to cover all the previous “heinous crimes” this institute has committed.
Hayat’s murderer was handed over to the police because of active reporting by the local news outlets who provided all the evidence to the public which made it impossible to call this murder an accident or cross firing incident anymore. They now call it a transgression of authority by individual personnel.
None of the past parliamentary commissions or committees formed to investigate the abduction of Baloch nationals or their murder has named any security personals guilty in similar situations. No one is punished. If someone tries to raise questions, is gunned down by Pakistan Intelligence sleuths or are found murdered under mysterious circumstances.
Ground and aerial operation in Gichk area of Panjgur district by Pakistan Military
The day Hayat Baloch was killed, Pakistani military commenced a ground and aerial operation in Gichk area of Panjgur district. According to local sources, more than fifty men, women, and children were taken to undisclosed locations by the forces.
Talking about transgression, it is actually the result of decades of impunity provided to government soldiers who literally hold the license to kill and no one can question them. The kill and dump policy by the military regime in Balochistan is not any different from killing an innocent student in front of his parents. Many innocent students have been picked up after such attacks and later, those people have turned up as dead bodies on the roadsides. The culprits have remained immune from any justice system.
People in Balochistan understand this colonial mindset of government forces, for which resources of a land matter more than the people of the land. Knowing this bitter truth, student organizations have launched a campaign against Frontier Corps’ presence in Balochistan demanding the complete evacuation of Frontier Corps (FC) troops from cities. Chief of ‘Balochistan National Party’, Akhtar Mengal, has also called for an end to the mindset and impunity provided to the government forces.
According to reports, Pakistani forces have launched a large-scale ground and air operation in different areas of Gichk in Panjgur district of Balochistan, as a result, several people, including women and children have been reportedly abducted so far.
The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) said in a statement that the enforced disappearance of Baloch women and children from Panjgur is a matter of concern and an unconstitutional, immoral and inhumane act which needs to be condemned.
“We urge the government to take notice of this immoral act and take action against those responsible by saving the women and children,” statement read.
As per the reports, the military operation in Gichk, Panjgur was launched recently, which has been extended to other neighbouring towns. There were also reports from locals that the Pakistani army had buried two bodies under its supervision, yesterday. At the same time, locals also said that the bodies were burnt.
According to sources, seven women along with 11 children have been taken into custody and shifted to an unknown location, while wheat and other fields, including the houses of eight people were set on fire by the forces.
Missing women and children are identified as, Maryam, Muharram, Mahal, Mah Gul, Razia, Jamati, Begum, 14-year-old Shakila, 6-year-old Jamila, 12-year-old Khairina, 6-year-old Sabrina, 1-year-old Adeela, 8-year-old Zubair and 7-year-old Sameer. They include six-year-old Shahdad, four-year-old Shahram, two-year-old Shantul and another two-year-old child.
Sources told that the houses of Bahram, Beem, Pinduk, Sardo, Mian, Shambo and Murad Bakhsh were set on fire by the forces.
The area is under siege by the forces while timely access to information is not possible due to the closure of the communication system.
On the other hand, Voice for Baloch Missing Persons has also appealed to provide full details of the missing women and children from Panjgur to the organization so that it can effectively take up the issue with the government and other concerned groups.
Human Rights Commission of Pakistan’s (HRCP) Special Task Force Turbat, Makran has expressed deep concern over the news of the abduction of women and children and said, in Balochistan the issue of human rights has been on the rise for many years and its intensity is increasing day by day.
The spokesperson of HRCP said that The organisation condemns the abduction of women and children in Panjgur and considers it an inhuman and unconstitutional act and demands immediate release of the arrested women and children. “A serious consideration should be given to the deteriorating human rights situation in Balochistan, changing of attitudes and taking steps to ensure civil liberties is needed,” he added.
None of the Pakistan’s mainstream media reported about this grusome operaion of Pakistan Army. Pakistan media as we mentioned in our previous article is totally censored and have to get each and every news cleared by ISPR before it can be reported in media. No news of Human Rights Abuses in Balohcistan are reported by either the Pakistani Media or the Leftist/Liberal International Media that has lots of Pakistani origine journalists. Take an example of New York Times or Washington Post or BBC. These Leftist/Liberal Media giants have Pakistani Journalists who on instructions from Pakistan Intelligence Agencies turn blind eyes to the Human Rights abuses by Islamist Radical Punjabi dominant Pakistan Army.

Pro-independence Baloch leader Dr. Allah Nizar Baloch on Hayat Baloch Murder
Pro-independence Baloch leader Dr. Allah Nizar Baloch while commenting on the tragic death of Hayat Baloch said that the assassination of Hayat Baloch was the continuation of targeting Baloch youth and the future of the nation. While the purpose of Pakistan by committing such war crimes is to continue the genocide of Baloch nation as well as an attempt to psychologically demoralize the youth of Balochistan by creating uncertain situation so that they would not be able to focus on their education nor be able to play their due role in the Baloch national struggle.
“Pakistan has employed multipronged aggression to keep the Baloch youth at bay form getting education, which include the colonial system of education to paralyze the mind of the youth, to keep schools, colleges and universities under control of the army and to settle military camps and check posts in these educational institutions. Moreover, the killings of thousands of Baloch students by Pakistan army and thousands of them are still enduring inhumane torture in the secret detention centers run by the army” said Dr. Allah Nizar.
Dr. Baloch further said, “After the horrific and gruesome murder of Hayat Baloch, the reaction of the Baloch nation was a natural phenomenon. The Baloch nation has made thousands of sacrifices to keep the spirit of national struggle alive. Pakistan has employed every tactic to destroy our identity, culture, and language. Along with the genocide of the Baloch nation, our culture and language are among the endangered. For this Pakistan has, not only, imposed a ban on reading and writing of Balochi language whilst the English language centers and teachers have been continuously targeted. Those books which are published in Lahore and Karachi are banned in Balochistan. Pakistan army has confiscated Balochi and other books from the book shops in District Kech and other places, which is the clear indication that the state of Pakistan is trying to keep Baloch nation away from getting education and knowledge.”
He added: “The assassination of Hayat Baloch is the continuation of this policy which aims to target the bright stars. Even though we have time and again kept telling our youth and appealed to them that they should stand against Pakistani atrocities but also adjust themselves to the available colonial educational system and prove it to the world that while living within the colonial system of education, it cannot carry them away from their national aspirations.”
Dr. Allah Nizar’s statement comes after the incident of shooting a Baloch student, Hayat Baloch by Pakistani security forces personnel. Hayat was reportedly killed by FC personnel in front of his parents in Turbat city of Balochistan, on 13 August.
According to the Pakistan Military officials, the FC personnel involved in the killing of Hayat Baloch, has been arrested and handed over to the police for further investigation into the matter. On the other hand, Baloch nationalists see this act as “fooling around people by punishing an individual where actually the state and army are acting on the policy of Baloch genocide”.
Dr. Allah Nizar said: “The state lackeys have become active in order to mitigate and cool down the extremely angry reaction created by Hayat Baloch’s shooting. Military officers and police authorities are busy in the photo sessions. These excursions are nothing but false sympathies. They only want to make the Baloch believe that it was an error of an individual and the legal proceedings have been initiated against the culprit. But I want to make this clear that the assassination of Hayat Baloch was not the crime of an individual, but the state of Pakistan is the killer of Hayat Baloch because this is not the first case of its nature. For this reason, giving blood money or punishing an individual is an insult to the wounds of the Baloch nation.”
He said, “Anti-Baloch federalist parties are also trying to cash out this issue for their petty interests. For instance, Dr. Malik, an anti-Baloch element, came out of the hibernation only at a time when the Baloch nation is expressing their hatred vehemently against the state of Pakistan. The attempt form Dr. Malik to associate the assassination of Hayat Baloch, martyrdoms of other shaheed and missing persons to the armed struggle is an attempt to let Pakistan go scot free from all of its committed crimes.”
Dr. Allah Nizar Baloch concluded, “Our armed struggle is in accordance with the international laws and is being waged on our own land. Until now Baloch arm struggle has not violated any international law and abided by the Geneva Conventions. On the contrary, Pakistan is committing war crimes on a daily basis. Dr. Malik instead of blaming the Baloch nation should advise his masters that they should peacefully withdraw from Baloch land.”

Points to Ponder
Will such cold blooded extra judicial killings of different ethnic groups in Punjabi Dominated Pakistan will result in repeat of 1971 when Bangaladesh seperated from Pakistan?
Is Pakistan repeating the same actions that it did in East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh) before 1971 when local Bangla speaking people were murdered in large numbers?
Why is the Leftist/Liberal Main Stream Media silent on the brutal cold blooded extra-judicial killings in Balochistan by Pakistan Army? When the same Media houses are vocal against Israel in Palestine, Why are they silent against Islamist Radical Pakistan for its human rights abuses in Balochistan, Sindhudesh and Pashtunistan?
