Bhasha Dam in Occupied Gilgit-Baltistan has opened a can of worms in Pakistan. Pakistan is not only being criticized by citizens of Sindhudesh but International community is also critical of Pakistan that has sold itself as a concubine to Chinese Masters, only for on reason i.e. its hatred for sworn enemy i.e. India.

Bankrupt Pakistan has recently announced that it is going to build the Diamer Bhasha Dam on the river Indus in occupied Gilgit-Baltistan region and contract for the same has been awarded to a state owned Chinese company, at an estimated cost of $15 Billion.

It is however pertinent to mention that Pakistan does not have this kind of money, net Forex reserve of Pakistan as of date is only $10 Billion, out of which $9 Billion are the deposits from Saudi Arabia, UAE and china itself. The fact that both The World Bank as well as The Asian development bank have already refused to fund the project as the project site was in Indian territory illegally occupied by Pakistan.

Question to be asked is why has Pakistan announced such an un-viable project which is already known that it cannot build as there is no international funding and Pakistan is already bankrupt.

Background of the announcement:

Government of India has recently made it clear that India is going to take back POK Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral which legally belongs to India and Pakistan has illegally occupied the area through force in 1947. Even the British parliament passed a resolution condemning the illegal annexation of Gilgit-Baltistan by Pakistan.

Since overtures of Govt. Of India made Pakistan nervous, the antics department of Pakistan set into motion and declared that China will be building a dam over river Indus in occupied Gilgit-Baltistan.

It may also be recalled that during the terror regime of Chief justice Saqib Nisar, Supreme court of Pakistan was transformed into a fund collecting agency and a huge propaganda was launched in Pakistan to collect funds in name of this dam, entire amount from the collections such made were siphoned off and civilians were left in oblivion with the scale and speed of the fraud committed by supreme court of Pakistan in the name of Dam fool funds.

China on other hand knows the financial condition of Pakistan better than the Pakistani leadership, therefore when the contract was announced to be awarded to China without any competitive bidding, China choose to remain silent when questions were asked about funding of the said project.

Chinese leadership uses Pakistan as its test bed and knows that the gang controlling civilian administration of Pakistan is highly corrupt and always willing to sell anything and everything for ANY price offered, hence china did not oppose the announcement and continues to take Pakistani girls and organs from Pakistani males as part of CPEC deal.
