In another previous article The Intellectual Hit-Men Or Women, we also exposed Ashok Swain as an intellectual lonewolf or someone trying to stay relevant by influencing the way people should think as per his twisted world view or he is a pen for hire/intellectual Hitman.

In yet another article the author has also exposed Ashok Swain to be Anti-Islam in our previous article Is Ashok Swain Anti-Muslim?. Ashok Swain has used the words “Islamic Terror” in his books and writings. And suddenly he is liked by all Pakistanis, Radicals, Leftists and Liberals overlooking his hateful comments on Islam only because he is speaking against India and all his hateful comments against Islam are forgiven.

Peer Reviewed Lies of Ashok Swain

I came across an interesting Peer Reviewed article by Ashok Swain published in 2009:

On the 2^nd Page, Swain parrots the argument that India and Pakistan waged war against each other.

Interestingly, T.V. Paul also graduated from JNU, he has not cited Ashok Swain’s works in this entire book ever.

On Indus Water Treaty as per Ashok

Now I want you to read and digest the following paragraphs very carefully.

So what Ashok is trying to say is that Pakistan is the reason for the water dispute and disruption of peace in the region. In the previous paragraphs he explains what is covered under the 1960’s Indus water sharing treaty.

So, India’s three rivers are: Ravi, Beas and Sutlej.  Pakistan will have: Indus, Jhelum, Chenab[See Map].

Tulbul Navigation/Wular Project

India maintains that the project is to make the lower Jhelum river navigable in the lean season and is not for diversion of Pakistan’s share of water in anyway. Pakistan took the case to Indus Waters Commission in 1986, a year later it admitted its failure to resolve the issue. The said project would have benefited Pakistan’s citizens in the area, by maintaining minimum depth of the river throughout the year. The minimum depth implies that the river can be used to transport material throughout the year through boats.

As per Wikipedia: Kishanganga Hydelpower Project

It diverts water from the Kishanganga River (Neelum River) to a power plant in the Jhelum River basin. It is located 5 km (3 mi) north of Bandipore in Jammu and Kashmir and has an installed capacity of 330 MW. Construction on the project began in 2007 and was expected to be complete in 2016. Construction on the dam was temporarily halted by the Hague’s Permanent Court of Arbitration (CoA) in October 2011 due to Pakistan’s protest of its effect on the flow of the Kishanganga River (called the Neelum River in Pakistan). In December 2013, the Court ruled that India could divert water for power generation while ensuring a minimum flow of 9 cumecs (m³/s) downstream to Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

Ashok’s Proposal for a new Indus Treaty

Ashok Swain is asking both sides to build storage facilities. He is also suggesting the reduced usage of Indus water for agriculture. The plains of Indus lie in Pakistan! Maximum agricultural lands exist along these plains in Pakistan! The Delta of Indus also exists in Pakistan. What Ashok is basically saying is “Pakistan Must give up agriculture along its most fertile lands!”

How is this workable Ashok? You want to push Pakistan into a major food crisis and further escalate the instability of Pakistan? I question your motive now!

Ashok Swain talks about Peace Parks I partly agree with the motives of the peace parks. However, this is far from reality. Looks good for presentation talks, but have little or no practical significance in the nature of India-Pakistan conflict.

For a brief moment I was impressed with the idea proposed by Ashok and despite being his critic I had some respect for him until I saw the following paragraph!

Fact Check:

1.  There is no Pakistani Army in the Siachen Glacier. So, mutual withdrawal is out of question.
2. World’s largest non-polar glacier is the exact reason for not withdrawing and controlling it.
3. Separates Pakistan and China

It was an unoccupied territory till operation Meghdoot in 1984, until India discovered Paksitan’s agenda of occupying the field by first sending in foreign mountain climber tourists to the no-man’s zone.

So, this article was creation of a narrative to pull-out from Siachen? The year when this article was published in 2009.

So now Pakistan is fear mongering?

Ofcourse, India has been misunderstood by its neighbours.  By the Way the “Hindu Growth rate” was the doing of your Favourite Indian National Congress ruled govt policies.

Had Vajpayee’s BJP lead govt not taken right measures (authorization of 1998 Nuclear test), the IT&ITES jobs would have never come into India. Until 1998 Nuclear tests, India was perceived as a country of snake charmers, superstitions and Russian allies in the region. But, our ability to convert non-fissile material into weapons grade plutonium lead to the formation of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG). This feat, made the western corporates realize the full potential of Indian culture for Mathematics, Science, Engineering and Management. This nuclear test lead to outsourcing of jobs to India, not merely because of introduction of computers to India by Rajeev Gandhi.

Conclusions:

Sadly, you are not impressive Ashok, the bias you have is clearly visible.

You favor Congress and hence are siding with Pakistanis at the moment.

You have consistently hit Pakistanis below the belt throughout your academic articles.

You have shown both Pakistanis and Indians in poor light.

Points to Ponder

In the Past Ashok Swain has mentioned extensively about Islamic Terror and Pakistan being the sponsor of Radical Islamic Terror. In this article also we have mentioned how Ashok Swain wanted Pakistan to give up agriculture on its fertile lands. People need to ask question why the same Ashok Swain is treated as a widely respected Person in Pakistan?

Is it that Ashok Swain is now working on the directions of any foreign Intelligence Agencies like that of Indian RAW or Israeli Mossad or American CIA to condemn India and get into the inner circles of Pakistan and the Opposition parties in India like Congress? What is his agenda once he has intruded in the inner circle of Pakistan and Indian Opposition parties like Congress? Being a Fake Intellectual, will he be able to use his fake intelligence to influence the decision making in Pakistan and that of the Indian Opposition parties like Congress Party?

Whoever is behind Ashok Swain and prompting him to go against India, his crimes against Islam and calling “Islamic Terror” will not be forgiven by the Radicals in the religion. He may get momentarily pleasure abusing and condemning India in his social media spitting but he needs to look at the histor of what was done in Charles Habdo case for posting against Prophet. While he has extensively written on Islamic Terror in his books. Will these foreign Intelligence agencies be able to protect Ashok Swain?
