Would YouTube allow advertisement by Osama-Bin-Laden calling for attack on West?

“Would YouTube allow advertisement by Osama-Bin-Laden calling for attack on West?” This is a question being asked by 1 Billion people in India after YouTube posted Advertisements by a Terrorist Gurpawant Singh Pannun on YouTube Videos calling Sikhs in India to take up arms against India and join his Terrorist Organization.

In a surprising turn of events viewers across India were flooded with Khalistani propaganda by YouTube a premium OTT provider owned by Google. Not just that, the propaganda video which is promoted as an advertisement by a certain Gurpatwant Singh Pannun exhorting people to join farmer protests in which he declared a donation of 10 million USD for the cause.

Superficially, all of this looks fine but it turns out that Gurpawant Singh Pannun heads the Khalistani Separatist Group Sikhs For Justice which tried hard for a referendum in favour of an independent Khalistan which Incidentally turned out to be a damp squib.

However, the most important thing here is not just the stand of SFJ but the fact that the same Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is declared as a Terrorist by India. India on Wednesday 1-July 2020, declared nine individuals, including Gurpatwant Singh Pannun – a US-based member of the banned ‘Sikhs for Justice’ – as terrorists under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Pannun, who organized the Khalistan 2020 referendum, has been seen actively running a campaign against India and motivating Sikh youngsters in his home state of Punjab to join Terrorism.

The others who were designated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), India as individual terrorists under the UAPA include Paramjit Singh (Babbar Khalsa International), Hardeep Singh Nijjar (Khalistan Tiger Force), Gurmit Singh Bagga (Khalistan Zindabad Force), Wadhawa Singh Babbar (Babbar Khalsa International), Lakhbir Singh (International Sikh Youth Federation), Ranjeet Singh (Khalistan Zindabad Force), Paramjit Singh (Khalistan Commando Force), Bhupinder Singh Bhinda (Khalistan Zindabad Force). All these terrorists are currently residing in US or Canada or Pakistan or in European countries.

In an official statement the MHA said on 1-July 2020, “These individuals are involved in various acts of terrorism from across the border and from foreign soil. They have been relentless in their nefarious efforts of destabilizing the country, by trying to revive militancy in Punjab through their anti-national activities and through their support to and involvement in the Khalistan Movement.”

Over the same, the current Chief Minister of India’s Sikh majority province of Punjab, Capt Amarinder Singh had said, “You try to come to Punjab and I will teach you a lesson,” the Punjab CM had dared Pannun in August, adding that any attempt to disturb the state’s peace would be dealt with an iron hand.

Though the outfit deserved to be treated as a terrorist organization, the Government of India had at least taken a long-overdue stand against SFJ, which had unleashed a wave of terror in Punjab in recent years.

With Pannun being declared as a Terrorist, the whole YouTube advertisement narrative takes a sinister turn when we come to know that YouTube is promoting terrorism in India in open violation of Indian law. Anyone would want to ask if the same YouTube will post the advertisements by Osama bin Laden or Mullah Nasrullah declaring donations to wage a war against America on American soil.

Pro-Khalistan and anti-Indian slogans were being raised by Punjab Farmers at the instigation of SJF Terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun during the ‘farmer protest’ along the Haryana-Punjab border to protest against the Modi government under the pretext that the three farm bills are ‘anti-farmer’ in nature.

Khalistan organisation SFJ, funded by Pakistan, had earlier declared a grant of $10 million for farmers in Punjab and Haryana in lieu of their support for Khalistan that includes instigation for Armed Terrorist Activities. “From October 1 to October 8, any farmer — irrespective of his faith — can register 25 votes for the Khalistan Referendum 2020 and get a grant of Rs 5,000 as assistance to repay their agricultural loans,” SJF had earlier said.

Hence the action on part of YouTube is being questioned by many people. People are directly asking if YouTube would allow advertisement by Osama-Bin-Laden calling for attack on West.

YouTube has not taken any action against the employees who allowed such advertisements to be posted to reach millions of people. Nor YouTube has come out with an official appolgy.

Similar videos featuring Gurpatwant Singh Pannun are regularly posted by Pakistani twitter handles on Twitter to incite Indian Sikhs to join the Terrorism however the social media giant Twitter has also not taking any action against such videos despite people reporting such videos by a terrorist from time to time.

Points to Ponder

Does that mean that big Tech giants like YouTube, Twitter has no accountability or respect for Indian Laws? Or are these tech giants influenced by the notorious torublemaker George Soros in creating disturbance in India?

Or does that mean that the tech giants have people sympathetic to Terrorists and the Terrorist Nation Pakistan infiltrated that would not shy away for posting the videos promoting terrorism in other countries?
