Bio-Weapon smuggling by China has been exposed by the USA. US Customs seizes half ton of Salmonella-Laced Kratom, a group of bacteria that can cause gastrointestinal illness and fever called salmonellosis.
CBP’s Office of Field Operations recently seized more than half a ton of salmonella-laced Kratom in a shipment originating from China.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Office of Field Operations seized more than a half ton of salmonella-laced Kratom at the Fort Street Cargo Facility.
The nearly 1,200 pounds of contaminated powder, valued at approximately $405,000, was initially selected for further inspection when agriculture specialists discovered a number of inconsistencies to include an unusual description on the shipping manifest and classification discrepancies.
The intended imports, which originated from China, were manifested as botanical soils from Canada, though Officers and specialists believed it to be consistent in appearance to bulk green tea. Further steps to positively identify the powder were coordinated by Agriculture and Import specialists through Food and Drug Administration lab tests.
Lab results confirmed the substance to be Kratom, but also revealed it to be contaminated with salmonella, a group of bacteria that can cause gastrointestinal illness and fever called salmonellosis, according to the FDA.
The shipment was ultimately seized due to significant risk to public health and safety.
“Our officers and specialists are wholly committed to the health and safety of the American public,” said Port Director Devin Chamberlain. “This situation exemplifies CBP Field Operations’ layered approach to enforcement and interdiction activities, and emphasizes our total team concept.”
Kratom is a tropical tree native to Southeast Asia, and its leaves are often ingested in the form of tea. Depending on dosage, Kratom can produce both stimulant and sedative effects. Kratom is not a scheduled substance under the Controlled Substances Act, though the Drug Enforcement Administration currently lists it as a Drug or Chemical of Concern.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our nation’s borders at and between official ports of entry. CBP is charged with securing the borders of the United States while enforcing hundreds of laws and facilitating lawful trade and travel.

Points to Ponder
Earlier China brought the entire world to a standstill killing 524,000 innocent civilians worldwide and killing 132,000 in USA alone using its deadly Bio-Weapon Chinese Wuhan Corona Virus. Now since the Customs are more strictly checking every consignment originating from China, more such evidences of Bio-Weapons smuggling are coming to light.
Shouldn’t all the consignments originating from China and Hong Kong be banned by all the nations to prevent the malicious designs of the Communist Chinese CCP against the USA and its allies?
Is China trying to contain USA and its Allies in domestic issues of public health and safety and infectious diseases that China has spread using its Bio-Weapons? What is the purpose of China in using Bio-Weapons? Is this a distraction for USA and its allies so that China can take over Taiwan, Hong Kong and attack all its neighbors and forcefully take over their territories and enforce its border maps?
When is the entire world going to seize all Chinese Assets, forfeit all Chinese Loans and Sue China for Trillions of dollars of compensation for killing 524,000 innocent civilians worldwide and bringing Economic collapse to the world?
