Governor Kate Brown is slammed for destroying Thanksgiving celebrations. She sparked an outrage by saying that neighbors should call the police if they find another family celebrating Thanksgiving with a large gathering in their home, in what one local official said turned people into ‘second-rate slaves’ in their own homes.

This action of Governor of Oregon, Kate Brown has all the hallmarks of George Soros in destroying the culture and festivals that are close to heart of millions of people.

As per a report published on 2-April 2018, George Soros, had invested in the re-election campaign of Gov. Kate Brown in general elections in Oregon in November 2018.

George Soros’s $25,000 contribution to Brown, first reported by the Eugene Register-Guard, appears to be Soros’ first direct involvement in an Oregon race since the state began keeping electronic contribution records in 2006.

Brown, a Democrat, raised $989,000 in 2018 and had $3.48 million on hand. Her opponent in the November general election, state Rep. Knute Buehler (R-Bend), had raised $750,000 that year and had $1.96 million on hand before 2018 November General elections in Oregon. Knute Buehler for 814,988 votes while Kate Brown got 934,498 votes and became the Governor.

However now when it comes to the Thanksgiving festival that is very close to the heart of all Patriots in the USA, the agenda of George Soros is being followed.

Kate Brown, the Democrat ruler of the state, announced on November 17 that new restrictions would be put in place the following day, with no more than six people allowed inside any one home.

And she said if Oregonians saw anyone breaking the rules, they should call the cops.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, hit out at Gov. Brown during an appearance on Fox News where he branded her comments ‘un-American.’

‘Oregon just legalized heroin and maybe cocaine. And so it’s okay to have heroine and cocaine, but not turkey for Thanksgiving? That is un-American.’

Other critics said the ‘freeze’, as the restrictions were termed, was unconstitutional.

Tootie Smith, elected in November as chair of Clackamas County – which incorporates part of Portland – said that the ruling would make ‘second-rate slaves’ of people in their own homes, and the sheriff of Marion County, which includes the capital Salem, said it was ‘counterproductive’.

‘We recognize that we cannot arrest or enforce our way out of the pandemic, and we believe both are counterproductive to public health goals,’ the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

Brown said that their complaints were harmful to public health.

‘Look, all of this is irresponsible,’ she said.

‘These are politicians seeking headlines, not public servants, trying to save lives. My top priority as governor is to keep Oregonians healthy and safe. That’s where I’m focused.’

She said it was straight forward to enforce.

‘This is no different than what happens if there’s a party down the street and it’s keeping everyone awake,’ she told KGW8 on November 20.

The Oregon Health Authority on Monday reported 1,174 new confirmed or presumptive cases and six new deaths.

The state is now averaging a record 1,241 cases a day over the past week, and hospitalizations climbed upward to a new high, with 456 people in the care of medical professionals – 44 more than on Friday.

Oregon’s healthcare system is at 88 per cent capacity, Oregon Live reported, with a tighter supply in the metro area, where beds were 92 per cent full as of late last week.

The governor said she is promoting an ‘education-first’ model, and hopes enforcement won’t be needed.

But she said the option was there, to enforce the law.

‘This is about saving lives and it’s about protecting our fellow Oregonians,’ she said.

‘We have too many sporadic cases in Oregon. We can’t trace these cases to a particular source. We have to limit gatherings and social interactions.’

Oregon has had a particularly tough year, as the city of Portland became the focal point for civil unrest following the May 25 killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Portland saw over four months of constant protest, which frequently descended into violence and lawlessness, exhausting the residents and the police.

Some online were quick to criticize Brown for the draconian measures when she ‘wouldn’t lift a finger to stop Antifa taking over Portland.’

On November 3 the state also became the first in the nation to decriminalize all drugs.

Instead of going to trial and facing possible jail time, a person would have the option of paying a $100 fine or attending new ‘addiction recovery centers’ funded by millions of dollars of tax revenue from Oregon’s legalized, regulated marijuana industry.

The passage of the measure makes Oregon, which in 1973 became the first state to decriminalize marijuana possession, a pioneer in America in trying the same with hard drugs.

The measure takes effect 30 days after the election, but the punishment changes don’t take effect until February 1.

Addiction recovery centers must be available by October 1.

About 3,700 fewer Oregonians per year will be convicted of felony or misdemeanor possession of controlled substances now that the measure has passed, according to estimates by the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission.

The measure will also likely lead to significant reductions in racial and ethnic disparities in both convictions and arrests, the commission, which is an official state agency, said.

While this approach is new in the United States, several countries, including Portugal, the Netherlands and Switzerland, have already decriminalized possession of small amounts of hard drugs.

Portugal’s 2000 decriminalization brought no surge in drug use.

Drug deaths fell while the number of people treated for drug addiction in the country rose 20 per cent from 2001 to 2008 and then stabilized, Portuguese officials have said.
